Dude, that really is a good idea! But make the extra add ons like an ipod port for all sizes of ipod-including the nano. An stackable module that has a 256 MB graphics card in it that has one DVI port from the mini and another port to the monitor. It would have to have a Firewire connection to communicate with the motherboard properly. Include this with the miniStack and your mini and you got one wicked mini!

Awesome design; one additional feature everyone wants seems to be an iPod port; you could add it as a flush mounted dock on one of the speakers?...seamless integration! If Apple created these components as add-ons you could control the cost of your machine. Personnally, I would get it all!

Card reader definetly needs a cover. OVERHEATING!!! Ipod dock would be cool. (Slot loading tape drive style!) Second layer from top obsolete (front row), Bottom layer stupid, headphone jack should be on the front of the mac anyways. Usbports should go in a ring around the mini (Dvi, video in/out should go on the back of the ring). This is too big.

All you need is a holographic projector on top and an ipod dock made of legos(so it works with whatever ipod Steve Jobs decides to release the next week, and the week after that...) and you're set!

Audiophile components would work if the music wasn't a lossy compressed format (why can't I get my itunes in wav?)
