where did you get that thing under your monitor?

This is steve - Thanks for the comments guys. @ jdrader the thing under my monitor is a SUMMERA desk top shelf (without height adjustment poles) from ikea with an apple sticker on it. So basically its a fancy pice of wood. @ DMXell the desk is also from ikea and is quite cheap for what it is, so maybe you could get one.

Hi Steve,I'm lucky natibo did you tried using webcam compatible to your Dell monitor like iChat or yahoo Messenger conferencing, new dell in the market today with built-in camera.

This is steve - Thanks heaps JankyJustin. I was running an optical cable from the speakers to the mac, (one end plugs into the control center on top of the sub and the other straight into the mac minis audio out port) but now, I am simply using a 3.5mm headphone jack cable. My xbox 360 is using the optical cable. @ luckynatibo, i have a logitech webcam, that does me fine. I never really webchat anyway. The dell monitor with the built in webcam only comes in 20inch doesn't it? I wanted something slightly bigger.
