RickB's Apple TV setup
|
I decided to move my Mac mini across the room. I mostly used it for GarageBand anyways. I really like the Apple TV. It runs a little hot, so I decided to rest it on top of my Mac mini glow stand. This lets a little more air get to the bottom. Plus, it looks really cool at night.

much prefer the new tv over the old one, hows streaming video to the itv, or do you use a wired network

It's actually the same 50" TV. Streaming wirelessly and syncing works great over my G network. Video playback is as smooth as can be. I'm just dissapointed that you can't stream photos. I would like to do this from my second Mac mini.

Thanks SOCOMRAIDER. I've been really happy with the SXRD. HD looks so good on it. It also sounds really good. I only have one regret about buying it. Prices dropped about $500 right after I got mine. That always seems to happen to me.
