Photogenic's iMac setup
This is my home office setup. iMac 24in 2.88E Intel Core2 Duo, 1T HDD - Late 2007 model, 4 Gigabyte OWC memory. 4 Terabyte OWC Firewire 800 external array - located behind the Cintiq. Apple 1 Terabyte time capsule. Gigabyte high speed gigabit switch. Apple wireless keyboard and Logitech wave wireless mouse. Attached to the iMac is a Wacom Cintiq 21UX along with an intuos 3 9x12. Sandisk multi card reader. The small monitor is attached to a 2 port KVM switch which in turn is connected to a 2.66E quadcore and a 3.0P4 both running XP-Pro. Everything is routed through to the internet using a snapgear dedicated external firewall appliance. I also have a dedicated UPS to protect the iMac, switch, router, modem and scanner- not fully shown.

No problem so far. The Cintiq is run at full native resolution 1600x1200.
