GrendelPrime's Mac mini concept
Paintshopped concept of the sleeve I am building to house my Mini and it's Belkin USB/FW hub. Prototype is styrene (no pics yet), with the final build being 1-2mm
brushed aluminum sheet. Just enough room on top for an iPod dock to sit comfortably.

If you pull that off, dude, you rock. The vertical mini is where it's at! Will you build me one when you're done?

Definately if you make a few sleeves, you could sell a few on this site, I for one would buy one.

i want one of those..
GrendelPrime [Feb 21, 2006 at 09:04 PM]
It's just a concept sketch so far, photoshopped from a G5 pic. I'm shooting for the same ratio on the curves and mesh though.

someone does an external hard drive case about that size which I'm sure you'd be able to squeeze the mini into, look here - http://www.transintl.com/store/minig.cfm

Looks pretty cool. Hey! look I've got a g5 tower. Looks pretty big and that CD must be enourmous! Or is the case gonna be smaller? (Probably)

ok. i'm saving up for the mac mini core duo, and i should have it in about two weeks from now (ugh, i hate waiting!!!) anyway, here's the basic idea of what i'm doing: putting the mac mini on it's side in the case (suspended or held up so it's not too low), and also putting the power brick in the case so i don't have to carry stuff seperately. i might make the case big enough for a 3.5 inch hard drive, but i have no idea how i'm gonna supply power to it. any ideas?
