What kind of Amp are you using for the speakers?

its a jvc stereo and its connected to a red and white audio cable to audio input thats plugged into the mini - the stereos underneath the mouse not pictured

Suggestions: Get a NuStand mini so your mini isn't off to the side. Also get rid of the "Black Sheep" tape.

Along the line of Ethan's comment. A vertical stand is needed or reposition the mini. Your monitor should be in front of you, not to the side.

nice setup, but a few things. 1 NuStand 2 get rid of the black sheep tape 3 make the drive icons smaller 4 get a proper sound system
