is that a Maxtor external hard drive, does it work well w/ the mac mini
Soulbrutha [Nov 06, 2005 at 07:51 PM]
Yes it is a maxtor but I use it with my work laptop under my desk. For extra storage for the Mac Mini, I use a Lacie 1.6TB drive for dvd, movies, music sharing and movie streaming. The is done through SMB connections. The other parts of my setup are non Mac related therefore I don't think the pictures will be shown

wow 1.6 TB that's huge..i had to look it up and its very expensive http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10599

Its in fact this one: http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10351 but with the exchange rate plus corporate discount, I got it at a reasonable price. ( I had to sell a few items on ebayy first to convince the wife ) . I've now update my picture with slighly better lighting: http://www.123macmini.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=2&pos=14
