Beautiful. Love the way the desk works with the mini. How do you like the ministack?

clean steup, good contrasting colors, just the way apple products are. whats the thing on the lower right side of the desk?

That Samsung display looks sweet with the mini.

lower right probably the volume control & Nice thing to be able to hide the keyboard... you put a slide show and you get a living artwork!!

the box under the right side of the desk is the woofer that came with those speakers on top. great bass!

very good cable management

Nona, i had some problem with the ministack.. but i think i did something wrong, so i can't say that the problem was with the ministack itself. Blazer, i love this 19" samsung display. it's all white and silver, so a perfect match with the mini. this display does not even need the dvi to vga adapter.

very nice cable management. i know how hard it is to do. oh! i see the shadow of a cable behind the back right table leg
OGN [Jan 28, 2006 at 04:50 AM]
"very nice cable management" Yes, very nice. The shadow is the only give away.
Vic [Jan 28, 2006 at 09:09 AM]
yes, it was hard to hide all the cables, but it worked out well. and i also have a Canon i960 printer on a bookshelf next to this desk, which prints wirelessly via the airport express. the shadow proves that there are cables indeed

do you prefer the monitor off-centre and turn your head all the time?
Vic [Jan 28, 2006 at 05:35 PM]
andrew, i often place a book or other stuff in the middle, so i like my display there.

"i often place a book or other stuff in the middle, so i like my display there. " I do the same thing. I keep mine off to the left because I'm a righty.

Absolutely stunning monitor, but get that sticker off on the top right, it spoils the view!

How do you like the Creative Labs speakers? That's the pair I planned on buying in a week or so, just want to make sure they sound good. Thanks!
Vic [Feb 13, 2006 at 03:12 PM]
creative labs speakers sound great! i like them a lot, and they look cool.
hebert [Feb 14, 2006 at 05:31 AM]
wonderful, it's clearly the coolest setup i've seen. All is ok with the W.A.F. Your girl must be happy!
andrew [Apr 06, 2006 at 11:42 AM]
just wondering since the Samsung is "buttonless", how do you adjust brightness, colour, contrast etc etc?
Vic [Apr 12, 2006 at 10:14 PM]
well, i don't really adjust anything because i don't feel the need. but if i need to adjust it, i have to launch the application that came with the monitor (or i downloaded it from their website.. i can't remember) to adjust those things.
