Chris N's setup
Rane TTM56 Mixer and Vestax PDX-2000 turntables setup with Rane Serato Scratch Live run on Late model iBook g4 (1.42 ghz/1.5g ram) screen spanning to the flat panel above the turntables. A MacMini (2.0 core 2 duo/2g ram) streaming audio and video out over the net. Both running Leopard with the screen sharing. One wireless/programmable keyboard and mouse that I can use on all three screens on both machines and one first gen Apple bluetooth keyboard right above the turntables paired with the iBook to respond in video chatroom while mixin on CamFrog. Keystation 49 usb midi controller for use with Reason or any other software synth or midi controlled application. :) TY

Do you run those turn tables directly to the mini? Im looking to get a USB turntable, my rents have 100's of records.

They are connected by way of the Rane Serato Scratch audio interface. Also how I record from vinyl.

nice gear but you really really need a proper desk

the slats on the shelf I used are handy for feeding wires through any way I need to.

I agree with zen, time for a new desk. But that 22" lcd sure is nice

I'm just a messy dirty boy, I like strewn wires... I am getting a nice free desk soon. But I'll miss being able to put wires through at every point on the surface of both levels. myspace.com/djkreature for more pics later.
