Jeff T's Mac Pro setup
Mac Mini inspired, Mac Pro running Leopard w/ front row 2 on 40 in Sony XBR HDTV over VGA. Mac Pro has 750GB of storage for media. DVI- HDMI looked absolutely awful for some reason, may be how TV handles the sources, but VGA looks awesome. Everything is controlled by the new wireless Keyboard and a wireless mighty mouse. Dual boots XP for gaming, extreme Mac HDMI switcher for DirecTV, 360 and PS3. Future plans, include a Keyspan RF remote to control front row, 7.1 surround with a receiver, HDMI capture card and someday a swivel mount for the TV to be moved around for viewing.

WOW!!! Awesome gear you have there. I love that sony HDTV. Does it have the ambient lighting??? What speakers are those??? Its the first time i've seen the mac pro connected to a tv. Nice and neat setup. Halo 3 wireless headset, Yeah!!!

Thank alot! No ambient lighting on this model, the speakers are an altec lansing computer setup. Someday ill get a 7.1 true surround sound system.

just wondering how loud the mac pro is when everything else is silent. Or is the 360 louder than it?? I would love a Mac Pro... would like one when i leave home - also that is one cool setup!!

LOL... Nothing is louder then the X-boX 360. Makes heck of a lot of noise. Sweet setup, first Mac-pro I've seen too. Strange about your DVI-HDMI... it should work great.
