The Gimp is fairly good, but requires X11.
Seashore, on the other hand, does not require X11. It's based around Gimp technology, yet looks and feels like a Mac application. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

Well, if you want a simple program that edits pictures, Pixen is free (like GIMP) and pretty good. _________________ www.TheRandomOne.co.uk - General random discussion
