i like to do simple edit on a pic...eg.like adding an arrow, adding a coloured circle,etc
how do i do it in my mac mini? what SW do i need?

Otherwise i'm not entirly sure, i'm still a pc user untill monday (saturday if i play my cards right) Laughing

OK......

go to google, and look up the "GIMP" (no quotes obviously)


First install X11 from your restore cd. then install GIMP.

This program is just as good as PS and is open source.

I LOVE gimp!!!

and www.gimpdome.com

The Gimp is fairly good, but requires X11.

Seashore, on the other hand, does not require X11. It's based around Gimp technology, yet looks and feels like a Mac application.

Seashore is not a full "GIMP"

I dont like it as much. Gimp is Gimp.

Seashore ≠ Gimp.

Well, if you want a simple program that edits pictures, Pixen is free (like GIMP) and pretty good.
