Yes! the MacBook Pro will support the 30" monitor.

| As the person above said, the MacBook Pro can support apples 30" display. The MacBook can only support apples 23" display. |

If you used the 30" display would you use the keyoard and trackpad on the macbook pro or use a seperate keyboard and mouse.

That is all a matter of choice, but either alternative will work.
