Try to boot it in the usual way (click power button) having all the cables disconnected, except the power cable, sure. In a second try, try to do it with a CD with the firmware restore file, indicated in the post above.
Good Luck. |

It's under warranty, and I have a repair shop around the corner, so I took the Mini to let them have at it. _________________ --------------------------------

After running this update on my 1.66 everything seemed fine. However like Nailz commented, sleep seems to be borked. If i sleep the machine for a wee while everything is fine. If i sleep it overnight (like i do usually) it won't wake up again and i have to do a hard shutdown... _________________ Mac mini 1 (Old Timer - test Box @ home) : 1.42 PPC @ 1.75, 1GB Memory, 320G HD

So is mine. But since the update isn't for those antiquated machines i'm not suprised. _________________ Mac mini 1 (Old Timer - test Box @ home) : 1.42 PPC @ 1.75, 1GB Memory, 320G HD

Why would Apple put this update out without thouroughly checking for problems such as those mentioned here. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.7 4Gb DDR2

I seriously doubt it. But that's not to say they missed something.
I'm still good (knock on wood.) I've had mine go to sleep a few times for over 3 hours and it came right out without a problem. I don't run Boot Camp anymore, so I can't speak for any problems there. |

I'm with ya. Except when I try to play H.264 content.

| I can only assume this all started after the EFI update. The first thing I noticed is that an application had some issues communicating with my cable box. So I'm temporarily unable to record any more TV shows. The other problem I keep having is that everytime I restart my Mac Mini, the screen would zoom up everytime?? Strange. |

My Mini is back from the shop and running again, with the firmware installed. Now I can make a DVD of my kids for their grandparents. _________________ --------------------------------
