I'm looking at getting and 80 gig exteranl one of these as they are on sale at Circuit City. I'm not looking for anything to boot from as I know you need to have Firewire to do this. What I'm looking to do is use it to store movies, music, etc....
Is this a good choice for that. If I have music and movies on there and want to listen/watch on my mini, will I experience any kind of lack/drop off?

There won't be drop off/lag. A 7200 rpm firewire drive has more than enough speed for movies and music. |
