how do I do it? I am selling the iBook, and I want to turn it back to factory so that everything is deleted...HELP

Just do a clean install with your Panther or Tiger disk. Put the disk in your Combo/Super drive, restart and hold down the C key. When you select the drive, click more options and do an Erase and Install. You should be able to take it from there.
