I've had my Mac mini for around a month now and all I can say is wow. I really like this little machine, even though it has a few flaws like (Cough) the hard drive and video card.
Question - Does Apple have a BIOS and driver page for the mini or are all updates done with Software Update? |

Typically you won't have to update your mini in that respect (Macs don't call it BIOS though, at least not like you're used to. They have Firmware...). If ever Apple decided that the mini was in need of a Firmware update, it would show up in Software Update...
As far as drivers are concerned, again, everything is done through Software Update, though it's probably pretty rare that any particular piece of hardware (except for the iPod) will get an update.
Hope that helps! |

Thanks for the reply!
That's what I figured. I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something being new to the Mac. Have you ever seen a software update where in the remarks they mention a specific machine? Example will they put X is for the iBook? |

Not that I can ever remember seeing, but the last time I had to do a firmware update was my B&W G3 (and that's been about three or so years ago)... And from what I can tell on Apple's support pages, there haven't been very many firmware updates for recent computers (aside from two for the Powermac), and none are posted for the mini. |
