i don't really mind the design so much, it's pretty much a thicker, dopier looking Ipod though, as is the norm with a lot of things from microsoft
brown is a hot colour in the print/fasion media world, you see it coupled with light blue a lot
atleast it was, it's making it's way out now, you'd think microsoft would have looked into this
if they use some kind of WMP integration with this thing i sincerely hope they completely revamp the whole program
honestly, windows media player is such a piece of crap, it's ugly, boring, and coded terribly
and who even uses an FM tuner these day anyways? |

Some people are going to buy Zunes just to stand out. Everyone has an iPod so there is no longer much of a cool factor associated with iPod ownership. Some people won't even wear white earbuds. They choose anything but white, to express a bit of individuality.
I think M$ was thinking about this when they decided to offer a brown model. |

I love my nano, but it's not just a matter of frothing advocacy zealotry.
There's a certain sense of justifiable outrage at the way Microsoft has treated its loyal customers. Apple has sometimes behaved badly towards customers, but their 'evil-lite' variant of DRM has shown a reasonable (if not perfect) sense that the consumer has *some* rights in regard to the audio they purchased.
Meanwhile, the Windows end of the market has been implying like billy-oh, for the last n years, that 'Plays for Sure' and Windows Media Player means that you don't have to worry about having to buy your downloaded audio again, or whether it works with your device. The implication now seems to be that if you tied your colours to the Plays for Sure mast, Microsoft wants you to go and buy an expensive device with a completely different encoding standard, and buy all your audio again, because the Way of the Future isn't Plays for Sure, that was so last year... |

No, no, it's quite safe. M$ is working on a antivirus program that will stop all viruses from attacking Vista! It's impenatrable! _________________ The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.

why do all those freaky smiley faces keep poping up on my computer?!?! Oh dang it, not again! I wish all the other antivirus companies didn't go out of business because Vista's security was soooooo good! _________________ The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.

I don't really like the Zune. In the menus it has those pictures but I like it how Apple does KISS. _________________ www.TheRandomOne.co.uk - General random discussion
