I'm about to buy a Mac Mini, and would like to sell my PowerMac G5. These are the specs:
Dual PowerPC970 at 2 GHz
1.5 GB RAM
250 GB SATA HDD
Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-106D
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
Firewire 800 Mb
No Bluetooth
Modem
This has of course been used for about a year, but still works perfectly. Do you guys have any idea how much I can expect for such a "beast"? I'm thinking of selling it on eBay. I'm in Europe though.
I'm not selling it here, just asking for your advice. |

Watching sales of similar equipment on eBay is the best way to estimate what it will sell for, however there are a lot of variables. |

Since it's a fairly recent model, look for the product number on Amazon.com and see what used ones are selling for there. I really prefer selling items there since you don't pay anything unless it sells, I think the fees might be less, you set the price instead of the buyer, and so far I've never had any bogus buyers. That said, I'm not a power seller either place!
