Hmm, same as my on my 20" ACD, I tested it again just to make sure I didn't have "optimistic" eyes and it appears fixed on my system. Bug report time?

Well, with the latest iTunes update, my scrollbar is still blurry, and even worse - it's blurry in Full Screen CoverFlow view - and it can't be fixed. What is the freakin deal? Anyone else have this problem?

I have the same issue. The funny thing is, I didn't notice it until 7.1.

I talked about it over here.

Could you take a screen shot and post it? Mine's not blurry, but it's definitely anti-aliased, which can blur a tiny bit on the edges, especially since they're using outlined scroll bars and controls.

Clear in regular Cover Flow view.

Blurry in regular Cover Flow view.

Blurry full screen Cover Flow in OS X. Note the super blurry volume slider. I cannot get clear in OS X.

Clear full screen Cover Flow on old Athlon PC.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm experiencing. My Vista PC displays it just fine. It's only an OSX prob for me as well. I wonder if it's related to the Mini's video card?

Wow, totally blurry. Mine's not like that at all on my MBP.

I'll have to check it on the Mini later tonight once my GF is done with her homework.

Cool, yeah, let us know how it looks on the Mini. My buddy has a MBP as well and doesn't have the problem.

I think this might be all about the GMA 950. I just chatted with a friend with a MacBook and he has the same thing. It doesn't do it on my G4 either.

It could also have something to do with the way CoverFlow is implemented in Tiger. I would highly suspect that iTunes in Leopard will have the CoverFlow function managed by CoreAnimation, while Tiger has to make due with CoreImage and a multitude of effects to get CF to work properly. I've seen the blurry bar on my gf's mum's iMac, which is a 1.83Ghz CoreDuo 17" with the Radeon graphics chip.

In the Windows version, CoreImage and CoreAnimation don't exist, and so whatever they're using on that side might just be more efficient than provoking CoreImage into doing it.

Frankly, it doesn't bother me, I don't use CoverFlow much.

And good Podcast taste. I enjoy MBW quite often. In fact, the TWiT shows are mostly what I listen to.

That's interesting! Maybe this is an actual issue with anti-aliasing or Core Image in Cover Flow and not with the GMA 950. Listen, this really isn't like a big deal. It's just one of those small annoying visual things once you notice it.

What else would you expect from a guy with the nickname Devo. Wink

The Beatles, Stones, Rush and Floyd are my favorites.

Me too. I'm a huge fan of TWiT (have every episode) and MacBreak. I wish TWit was more of a daily show. I love to listen to it on my 5G at work. Music just gets old after a while. I just started getting into Windows Weekly too. Shocked

I just got done downloading iTunes 7.1, and the "blurry" problem still persists. It's nice to know it's not just the Mac mini that's having this problem though.

Just checked my Mac Mini and it also has the blurry problem, while the MacBook Pro does not.
