I just realized I was doing a lot within iTunes... I'm currently doing the backup... downloading a TV show, listening to music... while the visualizer is running...

Damn you Remims Very Happy

If it makes you feel any better, mine does it too. As iMav stated, likely addressed in a future update.

My macbook is doing it too. I went to check my ppc mini but it it getting 4000 cover art thingies and I don't want to stop it. Is this like when someone points out a tiny scratch on your tv screen and from then on whenever you look at it all you see is that little scratch.

The problem I am having with iTunes 7 is that when I import music from a CD, it is very quiet and the quality is not nearly as clear as the original. I never had this problem before I upgraded to 7. Anyone have any suggestions? Willing to revert back to version 6 if I could find it.

iTune 7 settings are:
Custom
Stereo Bit Rate: 320kbps
I'm using Variable Bit Rate Encoding (VBR)
Quality: Highest
Sample Rate: 48.000 kHz
Channels: Stereo
Stereo Mode: Joing Stereo
I'm using Smart Encoding Adjustments

Again the sound quality is aweful.

My mini features: 1.42 GHz PowerPC G4 and 1 GB Ram

Any help would be appreciated. I have tried adjusting settings but no luck.

Thanks
Rob

Has anyone had a chance to install the 7.0.1 update yet? I haven't - just wondered if the blurry scrollbar issue has been resolved. Question

Yea, I'm running it now. seems to be fixed, memory usage is better as well.

EDIT: Scroll bar issue is still there, memory usage is definitely better.

I'm thinking it is a driver issue, and 10.4.8 is supposed to have a signifigant Open GL and video driver update across the board ::fingers crossed::

I've just got home and used software update to update iTunes.

It seems that I no longer have the blurry scrollbar issue, I've not been able to make it happen using all the usual methods.

This is on a Core Duo 1.66GHz, 1GB RAM.
