A good friend of mine may be springing for one soon. If so, I'll have him register and post a review here. _________________ -=iMav=-

Having used one for a few minutes at Tekserve in NYC, I can verify that it was an amazing machine that would look wonderful hanging from a VESA mount on my living room wall.

That could be up to 2 years away, justify that statement or don't make it. iMac designs then to hang on for 3 or 4 years, and with the much more managable heat signature of the Intel CPUs there is little reason to dump the current iMac design (which is exquisite). _________________ | Mac mini 2011 | Apple Thunderbolt Display | Apple keyboard and Magic TrackPad | 2Tb Time Capsule | Apple TV (3) | iPhone 4s |

With the previous iMac G4s they brought out the 20" model, a few months later the G5 iMac appeared. _________________ - MacBook Pro, 15inch, 2.4GHz, 2GB, 160GB HDD, SuperDrive. I Love this Mac!!!!

I still don't think that means anything, I don't see new models being a big deal this year, more like speed bumps and full migration to Core 2 Duo. The 24" just became fully available worldwide this past week, while there might be something new next year I wouldn't let it keep me from buying a useful machine today. _________________ | Mac mini 2011 | Apple Thunderbolt Display | Apple keyboard and Magic TrackPad | 2Tb Time Capsule | Apple TV (3) | iPhone 4s |

Maybe they can just fine tune the design. Give it the ACD look... aluminum with no chin. Now that would be a beautiful iMac.
........especially if they had a black anodized aluminum option _________________

Unfortunately its popping up in a number of threads courtesy of the same poster and will start a series of " I hear rumours etc...".
Really its irresponsible and it should at least be tagged with "I have no idea but IMO etc"
Here's my big piece of advice don't buy any Apple product 'cos they'll all get changed at some point in time... and you wouldn't want to buy into old tech would you? _________________ iMac intel CoreDuo 17" 1Gb

I suspect the next iMac will only be evolutionary, so some of that specualtion might be on the money. Just not in the next few months... _________________ | Mac mini 2011 | Apple Thunderbolt Display | Apple keyboard and Magic TrackPad | 2Tb Time Capsule | Apple TV (3) | iPhone 4s |
