| Blazer or adavis. Is the Minimate's noise level bad enough that you wouldn't recommend it to someone else? Is it louder than a normal PC's fan running? |

slickrick: no, the Minimate is not louder, or as loud, as a PC's fan running. Remember, there is no fan in the Minimate, all the noise comes from the hard drive. It's just compared to the silence of Mac Mini (when the fan in the Mac is not running) that the Minimate is "noisey." Actually, I would consider the drive that came out of my Minimate quiet for a 7200rpm drive. _________________ Al |
