|
|
Shortly after testing my nice new mini mac's performance I realised it needed more ram, so I added a 1 gb strip. Needless to say, it made a big difference! I then installed my new game "World of Warcraft". So far it has run fairly well however I do need to keep the game in its mid level settings to run smoothly.
I am wondering if it is at all possible to upgrade the mini's graphics from its 32 mb card to something in the 64 to 128 range? If not, is there any other way to enhance the graphics? Let me know. |

No you can't increase the memory. You can play around with the software mentioned above and make some frequency changes, but that's about it. Your poll should be changed to what Intel processor would you like to see in the mini. |

It would be nice if someone made a firewire graphics card if that was even possible?

You can -- System Board Swap!
I hope when the next Mini hits the market that some enterprizing company will provide upgrade system boards or a trade up program!
Alas -- wishful thinking... _________________ iMac 20" Intel Duo Core, 2G RAM, 250G HDD

Seriously, I'd rather they wait till they come out with an Intel-powered mini to make an update. Regardless, I won't be buying another PowerPC Mac. Certainly not because I have anything against PPC...I'm just anxious to get my hands on the "next Mac". _________________ -=iMav=-
