Im having problems with my macbook's ethernet...i tried to connect it with my pc via crossover cable and nothing happened, and yesterday i tried to connect tot he internet via cable modem and nothing happened, safari just said that i was not connected to the internet...is there any type of configuration for cable modem or its just my macbook defective??

Neither of the cables( cable modem and crossover) turn their light on when i pluged in the macbook

Please help!!!!!!!!! Exclamation Exclamation Sad Sad Sad
