123MacBook Website Launches
Monday, August 7, 2006
Posted By: Brian
We are pleased to announce the launch of 123MacBook.com, a new community and news website for MacBook and MacBook Pro users. The new website includes forums, photo galleries, buyer's guides, links, reviews and more. 123MacBook also features an owner reports section. This section of the website allows MacBook owners to write in and report on different aspects of their computer. So, if you're thinking about buying a MacBook or MacBook Pro, or already own one, head on over to the website and register for the forums. We would love to see you participate.

I think both these sites should be combined. I'm afraid of this one dying.
Just make 123mac.com and forum sections for each type but the articles and info can focus on the smaller range macs like the mini and portables. |

Actually, we feel like this will be a good thing for both sites. The cross promotion we have planned for both sites should bring new members into each community. Plus, each site will be able to stay focused on the system"s" they cover. I honestly feel that is what made 123Macmini unique in the first place. _________________ Brian

Hi Brian and Charles,
Congratulations once again on your awesome accomplishments. The work you guys put into the administration of these sites is outstanding. Thank you for all of your hard work. I, too, plan to purchase a Macbook by the end of the year. Good luck!!!

That''s great. I wouldn't worry about the cannibalization effect. My biggest fear would be Apple requesting that their product name not be used in the site name. ie. ipodlounge is now ilounge because of this.
Nice way to get the forums started |
