In looking at the Apple Store's description on refurbished iPods (probably the same blurb for others), they talk extensively about how all parts that need to be replaced are, how they test and burn in, etc. But they say nothing about whether a refurb might have cosmetic problems - scratches, scuff marks, etc. I tried to ask Customer Service but there's no easy way to ask a non-technical question, and they rejected my attempt anyway.
So, does anyone know if refurbs are cosmetically as "new" as the electronics, or might there be noticeable scratches etc.?

I bought 2 referbushed 2G nanos in black and they looked brandnew when I got them. We have been using both of them with the Nike+ thing, and they work fine. On a side note, the Nke+ thing has to be calibrated carefully, or it will say that two people run differet distances when they run the samw. Or in mour case, they said that my G'friend ran farther than i did, when in fact I ran over a mile farther _________________ macbook
