|what's the worst viral or bacterial disease (non-tumorous/cancerous) you've ever had?
I'll go first to get this going mine could go a few ways severity, effect, or hospitalized time.
severity: pnuemonia 3 times once for 1 week then 3 weeks then 2 weeks it wins severity since it was nearly deadly two times (third time led to empyema) and required special treatments the first time
effect: empyema, 7 years old 2nd child case in my area ever known of and first to use experimantal surgery and experimental medicine, 1 month almost won severity but it only lasted 3 weeks did almost kill me but it required 2 thirds of my right lung removed. I had to use the experimental methods since the normal surgery requires a cut that removes the skin over your chest the opens the ribs the removes the affected area of lung and I had it to severe for that since it was to rapidly spreading, this required a smaller team of surgeons, shorter operation, the absess was under pressure, and if I was out for too long I had a chance or going into a coma then they had to use experimental medicine since I had bacteria with an immunity to all normal antibiotics but that actually made all my bills cheaper since they had no one who wanted to test it or had to test it until me.
hospitalized time: strep throat hospitalized i think 11 or 12 times by the time I was 7 (kind of stopped counting after 10 (not enough fingers)) it actually led to pnuemonia once (last case most severe) and then to empyema, actually more than 12 times if you count after I had my tonsils removed (it's possible since strep is just an infecton that primarily affects the tonsils) so a grand total of 15 times.
