$799 for 20"
$1499 for 23"

Don't worry about the 30" I don't know anyone who can afford it! Very Happy

Many people are buying the Dell monitors instead. They are almost half the price and look pretty good too!

You can pick up a Dell 20-inch for around 450-500 but they don't look as good as the Apple Cinemas nor as cool, however, it's hard ot beat them at that price!

Anandtech reviewed them both, and while it said the Cinema was better looking, the Dell had more functionality (except for firewire huh) and more OSD options... (viewing dual inputs at the same time, more adjustments, etc.)

Overall the Dell was a better value, and they said if they were both the same price, they would have a hard time chosing, but since the Dell is cheaper, it's a better value. You can get them for as low as $400.

That's funny, because both the Apple 20" Cinema display and the Dell 2005FPW use THE SAME LG TFT! The only difference is in the backlight used and the internal electronics for port chaining.

So, while you may _think_ that they look different, you're looking at the same freakin' pixels on each monitor.

I wanted an Apple and I bought the Dell 2005FPW. I like it so much, I am now selling off my 21" Sun Trinitron CRTs and am going to pick up a second.

I got my Dell 2005FPW for under $400, no tax with shipping. Beat that, Apple, and you can have me back.

I'd pick up two Apple Cinemas for under $400!

I've always thought the base of Dell LCD's was ugly, however, I like the fact the you can adjust the height, rotate the screen and swivel them.
