| Does it really matter if the monitor has DVI or not? I mean, with the image quality... |

I was wondering something similar. Like, how much of a difference does the DVI input make over analog?
In my case, I'm on a budget. Is it worth getting the Dell 19" DVI (1905FP) for $500 and waiting to get my new ipod mini or would a $300 17" analog (E173) hold me over until the holidays?
Is the image quality going to be greatly different? _________________ Future Mac Mini Owner

Get DVI, but.....beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I've seen some bad DVI displays that look worse than a standard VGA display. If you get the right display DVI will look MUCH better. Text and icons will be sharper and brighter than with VGA. I'd suggest four brands Apple, Samsuung, Dell, Viewsonic. Whatever you do never buy a display sight unseen! _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

If the price is good and the display is nice..go for it. I still think you'd be better off with the brands I mentioned above and going with DVI. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini
