| Man, this really bums me out. My 17" intel mac gives off these horrible high pitched sounds through my headphones when idle....does anyone else notice this? is there ANY fix to this? I do a lot of audio work, and this is pretty much UNACCEPTABLE in my book....I seriously may return it over this issue. What a bummer. |

I've got Creature II's hooked up to my 20" iMac CD and don't hear any idle noise.

| Thanks a lot, also if anyone else cares to check thier CD imacs for ground noise in headphones, I'd appreciate it....if its just the way they run, i guess I'll learn to live with it, but if anything can be done, I want to do it pronto. |
