I found out that you can buy a mac on credit from the apple site in the UK so I thought - to hell with all this waiting, what's the point of living in an instant culture if you don't take advantage of it! am just about to push the button on a new macbook. anyone got any horror stories to put me off before I sell my soul to the credit demons! _________________ mac mini coreduo 1.66ghz. 1.25gb 60gb HD

Just pay it off ASAP and you'll have no issues. When the 3rd gen iPods came out I took out a little loan to buy it - it was "only" US$400 but I figured with 6 months no interest, might as well.
Never had any issues, paid off the iPod, closed the account. |

If you can get a no interest promotion, go for it. At the very least, have a plan to pay it off in a reasonable amout of time and STICK WITH IT!
When I was younger, I got BURIED in unsecured credit debt and it was hell trying to dig myself out. Now days, I won't finance anything but houses and cars. _________________ -=iMav=-
