|
|
First of all after installing XP with SP2 I had a sound problem. The sound was coming from the internal speaker and external speakers at the same time. But I searched the BootCamp forum and now I see that everyone has the same problem.
But I still have problem with my Bluetooth, XP recognizes nothing! During the installation of the MacDrivers everything worked well. I got no error messages. At the end of the installation I saw the bluetooth icon on the system tray then I restarted the Mini and Bluetooth was gone.
I tried;
1) reinstalling the entire drivers pack
2) to turn on discoverability of the device (it says that there is no device to turn on)
3) Going back to Tiger and check the bluetooth (it work very good there with my cell phone)
My configurations are;
Intel Mac Mini Dual Core
512mb ram
80gb hardisk (69 gig for MAC os and 10 gig for XP)
The XP partition is FAT formatted _________________ noah07

I found the solution;
After a 24 hours of no-answer i tought that i was making something wrong; and i started to try differents things with driver installation.
Firstly i tried again a few times but the bluetooth didn't work each time. Then during the installation i got a sms on my cell phone and i left the Mac Mini to install the drivers. Then i suddenly realized that the last driver is the driver of the sound card and if you click "install anyway" in the pop-up window fastly the installation package skips the bluetooth device and ends the installation with the sound card drivers.
So the solution is to wait a little bit in every pop-up windows; then you will have all the drivers on your xp system.
I asked myself and found the solution myself again
Thanks again... _________________ noah07

Yea, I found the same thing as well. Not to mention, I think it helps having your Bluetooth devices on during the installation. Now, I can use my Bluetooth keyboard on XP, just like I'm doing right now! |
