I know what you are saying, but this could be the start or something bigger. Like more wireless iPod accessories from Apple. I'm praying the next iPod has Bluetooth or 802.11g connectivity built-in.

Make them like a media streaming device where in your house on your network you can stream a song and not put it on your iPod or do both at once plus update your playlists at the same time, now blutooth would be nice for headphones.
