I encountered an issue with windows media player when I first upgraded to tiger. I thought I'd post the results of the fix on here in case anyone else was having the same issue.
The program would not start up or run any .wmv files, even after a complete reinstal, and removal of the old version of 9.
If you get rid of it, do a reinstal, and then go to spotlight, and search for windows prefrences. You will find a text document for the prefrecnces for windows media player. Delete the file, and there ya go.
Try and start-er-up.
Hope it works for you...
just a small fix that I found to be annoying.
You can also download a patch to watch the .wmv files in quicktime if want also.... just as a side note. _________________ 2.5 15" MacBook Pro 4GB Ram, 250 HD
