Maybe we need to have an old fashion taste test. Cover the cases and only have the screen showing!
Ok... you have your choice of the Dell or the Apple for free. What one are you going to pick? Please don't say you'd pick the Apple, sell it and buy the Dell. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

its important to note the dell display can rotate while the apple display does not.
the dell has a 3 year warranty and the apple only 1 year.
the dell supports s-video, svga, composite and dvi input. the apple only dvi.
they used a colorvision spyder to measure the image accuracy of each display down to 0.2mcd so there's no subjectivity involved in the comparison. they noticed the dell measured a slightly better contrast ratio than the apple display, probably due to a better backlight.
but yea, why not take the apple display, sell it and then buy the dell? thats $300 of free spending money, and you get a more functional display to boot... |

Dell $476 deliverd to me wed. ohh baby. its the one to get.
I almost got the LG for 17" for $299. Yea I know 325 (w/tax) vs 476 (delivered) is a big prie diff. but I was also considering the $399 19"".
The monitor if the most important part of the computer. its what you see. |
