Anyone else waiting for the intel powermacs? That along with the intel xserve is way up on my 'most desired' list. _________________ Powerbook G4 - Tiger

I plan on buying the least expensive Intel PowerMac (Mac Pro?) as I need a machine that can handle a wide array of video and music production/editing. _________________ Mac Mini, 1.25 Ghz, 40Gb, 512, combo drive. Imac G4, 1 Ghz, 80Gb, 768, Super Drive.

| I might wait for an Intel-based Powermac, although I am sure good deals on G5s will be abundant when an Intel based tower hits the market. |

I think Apple will remove the Power from the PowerMac. Scrapped it all out.
I think the Intel professional macs will be just called Mac Pro.
This inference can be seen from the MacBook (consumer) and MacBook Pro (professional).
iMac (consumer) so in theory Mac Pro (Professional). |
