I feel a bit... akward on this forum being that I still don't have a Mac. I was just wondering how many other people are in the same boat and don't have one either. _________________ Friends don't let friends use Windows. |

No Macintosh yet, but I can't stop reading all about them.
I am currently saving for one, and as a student, that takes a lot of time. (Even if the Apple website says anyone can afford one, ha! ) |

Aren't you guys the lucky ones
I'm saving, kinda. My dad says he'll get me one if I "prove" how much I want one. So I have to work hard at school, home, blah blah blah.
As far as accesories are concerned, I have $200+ in my savings account. _________________ Friends don't let friends use Windows. |

Got my first Mini almost 3 months ago from Apple.com. It was one of the "Upgraded" ones. It's a 1.5GHz PPC w/64Mb ATI 9200.
Then one day at work, about a month later, one showed up out of the blue and we hadn't carried them on the shelves for at least 5-6 months. It was still new in the box, never been opened but was a 1.42GHz w/10.3 and a Tiger drop in DVD, so it had been in the system for a while for whatever reason. I bought it at clearance for my daughter.
Then I found an iBook on ebay for $350. It's the one that gets the most use actually. _________________ 1.5GHz PPC G4 Mini OS X 10.4.6

| I bought mine at the just the wrong time. About one week after I bought my 1.42 PowerMac G4 Mac Mini, they came out with the Intel Mac Minis with iLife '06. I'm sticking with my choice, my Mini's never failed me once. |

Just bought mine a month ago. Learning to love it! I figure by the time I set up everything the way I want (external drives, setup, etc.) Apple will release a new mac mini. Still will love mine! |
