I finally did it........

I finally did it. After owning a Mini for several months I decided it was just too slow to be my main (productivity) computer. Not to mention no (not ever) dual monitor support. So I moved it out to the living room to use as a sorta media PC, well music and streaming video PC.

The other part I did was order a refurbished 1.8 dual G5 PowerMac.

It should be here in a week and it should hold me over until Apple replaces the PoweMac line with its Intel doppelganger + a few revisions to workout the bugs, ( I am guessing at least 1.5 years before I start shopping)

I am praying to what ever gods will listen that the FrankenMac will use standard FRAGGING video cards! The prices Apple wants for last generation GPU’s is FUBAR! FUBAR I tell you!

Of course I would have rather just bought OSX and installed in on my AMD x2 4600+ build by my own loving hands PC…….. But that’s not an option and I would rather use OSX than Windows,(Mostly that is I still like Windows I just like OSX better) it’s the little things like Expose and the fact that I can drag an app anywhere and use it.
