| When I did the Boot Camp trick it did not occur to me to disconnect my external hard drive. So the Boot Camp partitioned that drive the same way it did the internal hard drive. Pretty funny. |

I'm a little unclear about what you mean by "the same way." Did it allocate the same percentage for XP as on the boot drive, or the absolute same amount?

I did not even attempt to boot from the external (miniStack) hard drive.
I told the Boot Camp to split the hard drive 50-50. Then when I looked at the external drive is was like exactly the same size in either operating system.
If I would have read the directions more thoroughly they probably mentioned something about this. |

i dont think they did
and i followed the pdf to the letter
(didnt need to do so its dead easy and i can dream the windows installation procedure by now ) |
