Quite often i would like to read just the last 20 or so posts, so that you can see what people have been saying most recently in any topic/forum so that i can comment on things. It would be nice if possible to be able to click once to see all these on one page. Just an idea

When you first logon to the forum and you are on the main forum page, if you click on "View posts since last visit" this will allow you to view all posts in all areas that have been made since your last logon. _________________ 13' Macbook 2.0ghz C2D w/2gb RAM and 120gb HD

Also, as a side point, this site's "memory" of what constitutes "recently posted" seems to be server-based rather than cookie-based. In other words, I can login it at home on my Mac, read posts, and then login at work on my PC and the site knows what I've read at home.
Not all sites do that, and it's appreciated.

We only made a few modifications to phpBB for the forums. Our biggest goal was to keep everything clean and user friendly. I've been working on some new features for the site over the past few weeks. Including new buttons and top navigation for the overall header. I would like to put some of this new stuff up over the next few weeks or so.
What do you guys think?

Regarding view posts since last visit.
I find it frustrating how it is time based. Or at least how short the amount of time is. For instance if you have 30 new posts since your last visit and you bring them up, but do not have time to view them all in one sitting, the next time you come back you've lost them. This just happened to me 5 minutes ago. Now instead of having 20-30 to read from this morning, I now have 3. I would have to go hunting throughout the entire forum to view what I missed. |

You succeeded admirably, one of the best and "cleanest" forums I've seen. A pleasure to visit. |

I leave a tabbed browser window open when that happens to me. |
