HE HE it does look like that. They're kind of cool but very expensive. Whatcha want is the USB ports to be on the front of the mini. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

I'm up way late it's 3:00AM here in CA. I have a three-month-old daughter and she keeps us going some nights. The links in article show the back of the mini shack. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

Man.
This is really disappointing. I was kind of hoping it would have the same profile as the miniSkirt. That doesn't seem like it would be difficult to pull off. I guess I was kind of envisioning that it would be like the skirt with 7 ports *on the front.*
The price is *way* too high, too IMHO.
I think I'm going to try to make my own. |

A 7-port USB hub is a nice idea.
BUT why are there no FireWire ports?
And WHY are there no ports on the front?
This could be useful with some rethinking/reworking and with the addition of FireWire ports. _________________

I agree, plus it looks too big. The lighted part on the bottom looks smaller than the miniskirt and I'm not crazy about the white coloring but it does match the mini's profile. I'm waiting for something that matches the mini's profile and has the ports up front and includes Firewire. |

| Is it just me or do they look like minis sitting on the toilet? I really wish Apple would make some Mac mini accessories. The company who first comes out with a little silver one about two inches high, matches the mini's rounded corners and has the ports up front is going to do quite well. |

This biggest problem with these things is the USB is still on the back. I bet they couldn't find a way to mount the USB hub flush to the front panel and still support it in the case. The other problem is the hub is from a third party company so I bet they didn't even try to gut one, mod it and fit it up to the front panel because it would void the hub's warranty. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

I think everyone should just buy an Apple Cinema Display and use its USB and Firewire ports for a hub! _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)
