The Mac mini Size + Form + Quiet = Mi Musica!
"So with my Mac mini, I have to have my music, and the quality is superb just as it was in a train on the way back from Mar del Plata. So why is it so good?

Well for one thing the Mac mini is whisper quiet. The slower 80 GB hard drive makes no sound at all. All I can hear is the noise free Jazz throbbing away next to me. Yes I have "Mi Musica". It is the quiet and plain cool operation which says with music "Cool Man, just plain Cool." yes I once visited in that desert boot era of California.

The Quiet factor for many Mac mini aficionados used to some noise seems not to be a factor so many Mac mini's are getting fast drives and other neat push the envelope things and that is natural, When an appliance like the Mac mini is reasonably closed in form, then the - think different genre - will make us always want to cram a little more into what is a very tidy little but complete package. that could do with heaps of plug in accessories."

Hi Brian,
I am leading up to a media Home centre if my friends have reassembled it, yesterday it was in parts unfortunately, I even had my camera handy.
maybe tomorrow.
I am amazed at just how quiet and cool the Mac mini remains, perhaps the iMac G5 with its interactive sounds and ocassional revving now sounds noisy when it is relatively quiet mostly.
Even in a hot day the mini is cool and so silent, great for music, that is why I think its perfect for a Home theatre situation.
