|
I could get a DVD recorder:
http://www.weaknees.com/tivo/rca_8060n.php
and then rip the DVD content with Handbrake to get it on my mac...
But is there a direct way to get existing TiVo content onto my intel Mac mini? I don't know how I'd connect the mac to the TiVo anyway...
I bopped through the Elgato site... would EyeTV be the best way?
http://www.elgato.com/index.php?file=products_eyetv200
(I see that these are still PPC apps, but the site says they run fine with Rosetta...Elgato claims the UB apps will be coming soon...)
Thanks! |

| I have the Elgato EyeTV 200 and a Tivo. You can run the s-video and rca audio output from the Tivo to the input of the EyeTV. I've done this in the past and it works great. |

Why not hack the Tivo to enable networking, extract the video using mfs_ftp and then burn to DVD?
