Apple's OS X Tiger coming to the Mac Mini April 29th
Tuesday April 12, 2005
Apple has announced that Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger will go on sale Friday, April 29, beginning at 6:00 p.m. during special events at Apple's retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers. Apple is taking pre-orders online at the Apple Store as well. Mac mini owners who purchased their computer on or after April 12th, 2005 will be eligible to take part in Apple's Mac OS X Tiger Up-To Date program. Tiger has over 200 new features including Spotlight, Dashboard, Mail 2, Quicktime 7, iCal 2, Font Book 2, a full featured RSS reader built into Safari and more. Tiger requires a minimum of 256MB of memory and is designed to run on any Macintosh computer with a PowerPC G5, G4, or G3 processor and built in Firewire. Look for a full review and guides soon!

Maybe you could call them. I bet they only that type of program directly with schools. After letting this news settle in today I’ve become more frustrated at Apple. They should have extended some sort of discount to Mac mini owners that have received their mini within the last month. Even 10% throw us a bone.
