I'm trying to find the correct resolution to go full screen when connecting my new mini to my Mitsubishi WD-62725. The native resoluton overscans and cuts off portions of the display. Anything other than the native resoluton looks blurry.

I found some random posts that suggest different resolutions to try but non seem to work well for me. Shocked

Anyone have any experience with this?

What are you using to connect your mini to your Mitusishi. Is it VGA, DVI, HDMI, S-Video?

From what I can find the Mitsubishi should be 1280 x 720, which should be a standard resolution. After that have you played with DisplayConfigX?

I'm having the same issues with my Mac Intel Mini and my Mitsubishi. I have a WS-65613. What a pain!!!

The only resolutions that I detect are 1920x1080, 800x600 and 720x480.

1920x1080 leaves me with an inch of black around the screen and the image flickers. 720x480 is the best, but only gives me 480p and I still have some black showing on the top.

I tried the updated SwitchResX, but when I try to make custom reslutions and reboot they don't show up. I've screwed around with this for HOURS and nothing gets me close.

The frustrating thing is that I connected my old Powerbook G4 (since upgraded to a MacBook Pro) and it gave me a resolution that looked great. I just can't recreate it on the Mini.

Any ideas? I'll tell you, never buy a Mitsubishi if you try to connect a computer - they're terrible!!!

I first bought an dvi > hdmi monster convertor cable. It worked for a short while then for some unknown reason it just stopped. No signal. Returned cable and bought a new one to no avail. So.. I am now using VGA.

After tweaking for several hours/days...

1. Install SwitchRezX intel version and register it.
2. look at my settings at http://3wmedia.com/random/setting.jpg
3. Apply them.
4. Restart

So.. These setting look ok... not great... but not too bad. I do wish someone had the correct setting that would look as crisp as the 1280 x 720... which looks absolutely perfect less 1/8th the image missing due to overscan Sad

Anyone else???? Grab the software and see if you can beat my numbers!!!!!

I'm heading on vacation tomorrow for a week. I'll try them when I get back.

Thanks Snick!
