Anyone using Virtual PC? I seriously do not think I could actually get myself to buy it, but I AM curious to know if anyone here uses it on their mini's... _________________ -=iMav=-

Virtual PC is SLOOOW even on a Dual G5. The fastest OS i've found with it is Windows 98 stripped down. What I've done is install VMWare on my Linux server and I always run a copy of XP on my Linux box. I can then remote desktop to from my Mac to XP. |

I've had good luch with VMWare on linux. So would you say that VMWare performs quite a bit better than Virtual PC? _________________ -=iMav=-

Oh definately. Because you're not having to emulate the x86 processor. I only have a gig of ram in my Linux box and have almost 400 dedicated to VMware and the underlying OS is still usable. You cannot really do anything else on your Mac if you're running VPC with Windows XP. |

I am having trouble having XP recognize the printer and internet with VPC. What am I doing wrong? |
