Plugged in my new duo core mac mini (very very easy to get going BTW) and started up front row with the remote. went to play shared music from the PC file server in the basement. All the .mp3s that are shared through itunes on the basement PC played fine, but any of the iTunes purchaed give the message when played through shared music gives this message:
iTunes cannot play this this song.
anyone know what I am missing ? |

Did you authorize your purchased songs to be played on your Mini? If you purchase songs on another HD/computer and want to play them back on another HD/computer, you have to try to play the songs thru iTunes first. It will then ask you if you want to make the machine authorized to play your files. You might have to enter your iTunes account to verify, it has been a while since I've had to do this. After that, see if it works on iTunes by itself, if it does then try Front Row.
Let us know if that helps somewhat. _________________

Use JHymn: http://www.hymn-project.org/
No need to authorize anything and you can play your MP3's on a non-Apple MP3 player! |
