The Mac mini in the iHome - Reflections
"Look upon the yearly gradual style changes coming into living environments which seem to mirror good functional design and also the advanced theme that the iMac G5 represents. The theme of sleek and interesting forms for the computer has truly changed and what is expected, a box and screen is being replaced slowly with the cantilever new form, like the iMac G5 and even more so with the small form Mac mini.
Mac enthusiasts and most Mac users see advanced and interesting trend setting designs coming from Apple ever since the beige G3 become the power burst device in its time. Yes the speed was to us then blindingly fast to what we had used."

Many technologies are being merged and converged and the diverse ideas of a multifunctional appliance universe is well and truly with us. Now it is up to those who are looking to market trends for design ideas to perhaps think of the hearth, the home which is the comfortable, convenient safe and secure dwelling place we would all like it to be.
The next step perhaps is to consider that with many technological elements being reduced to pin head sizes, and the melding and merging by linkages of the carryable and the wearable iAppliances, perhaps the time has come to treat the new converged devices seriously as not only functional items to be used, but ones that fit within a family of appliances that perhaps will greatly improve living and life style in general.
When the Mac mini version x is able to fit in my shirt pocket I will be happy.
