Hitachi Travelstar 7300 rpm, 8 mb cache, 60GB |
7300? guess you mean 7200.
Are there any 7200rpm lapop HD bigger than 60GB out there? Additional 20GB might not be enough.
Anyway, how do you clear cache? |
Oops, yes 7200 (hard time to remember such things!) As far as I know there are not yet bigger ones...........yet. I have a Firewire enclosure with a Hitachi Deskstar 7200 rpm, 8 mb cache, 160GB, from which it is possible to drive OS-X also. I've heard it is faster than with the built-in 4200 rpm drives from Toshiba. Haven't bought a mini yet, as Tiger is not yet out and on the mini available. _________________ take care,
