How does it sound and is there a way to disable it? Does it still work if you plus in external speakers or headphones? I'm ordering a Mac mini when Tiger comes out! |

My kids use the internal speaker exclusively on their minis. It's "not bad". I BELIEVE that the internal speaker is disabled if you plug in speakers/headphones. _________________ -=iMav=-

Yes...the internal speaker is disabled when you plug in something into the jack. I was surprised with how good the internal speaker actually sounds. It's not going to blow you out of the room but it is somewhat useful if your short external speakers. |

It does turn off the internal speaker when something is plugged in the back. I don't think the internal speaker is good for much at all. A $10 pair of powered speakers are better than the internal one; I'd rather they left it out. Just my opinion. _________________ Mac mini powered up on 2-11-2005 |
